I fell in love with being underwater pretty much from minute one. The feeling of weightlessness, the calm and that no one can talk down there, what more do you want haha. My favourite places I have dived were Osprey reef and Bougainville reef in the coral sea. After working several years in the industry I decided it was the right time to leave my own mark on something I love so much by opening the doors to Aquanaut Scuba Diving and building a community of divers with the same values and beliefs. The ocean and all the beautiful creatures that call it home are here for us to explore and admire. Let's enjoy it, celebrate it but above all respect it.

I have been diving since 1999 and spent the last decade diving the local spots of SEQ. I have a huge passion for the marine life we get to share these waters with. From your whales and grey nurse sharks in winter to leopard sharks and manta rays in summer. SEQ really is the best kept diving secret in Australia. I love sharing these experiences with others and especially first timers. The excitement and joy I see it bring people is what reminds me how lucky I am to have been doing this for so long. I look forward to diving with you all soon.

I have been diving for 15 years, ever since I first took the plunge and found a whole new world beneath the waves. My top pick for a dive spot is the Ex-HMAS Perth off Albany, WA, but locally, you’ll often find me exploring the Ex-HMAS Brisbane or 9 Mile Reef. When it comes to marine life in Southeast Queensland, it’s a toss-up between the majestic Manta Rays and Sharks — both are always a thrill to encounter and locals to the Straddie dive sites. I recently completed my Divemaster trainee program and loved it with these guys. Next I have got my sights set on venturing into tech diving and, one day, ticking off diving with sperm whales, that is my ultimate bucket list item.

I started my dive journey in 2010 with my open water course closely followed by my advanced course. Due to work I moved to New Zealand and started a family which kept me out of the water for a few years. After moving back to North Brisbane I decided to reignite the passion and work my way up to my Divemaster. My personal favourite spots to dive are Flinders reef, the Ex-HMAS Brisbane and Flat rock. I am fascinated with the diverse marine life and how it changes season by season. The number one on my dive bucket list is to head to Ningaloo reef in north WA and hangout with the whale sharks.
