Overview
Our Advanced Scuba Course is a two-day open water adventure designed to expand your diving horizons. You'll master essential skills like deep diving, navigation, and buoyancy control while exploring the wonders of the underwater world.
The course includes the core Deep and Navigation specialties, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to navigate challenging underwater environments and upon successful completion, be certified to dive to 30m. You'll also have the opportunity to choose three additional specialties from our offerings.

Course structure
Day 1
-
Meet at Tweed Heads dive site
-
Complete three dives focusing on Drift, Navigation, and Buoyancy
-
Diving occurs on incoming or slack high tides
-
Master buoyancy, distance judgment, and correct weighting and trim for both aluminium and steel tanks
Day 2
-
Meet at Gold Cat ferry terminal at 5:30 AM
-
Return to mainland around 1:00 PM

Complete two boat dives (Deep and Nitrox)

Dive sites vary by season (Flat rock and Manta bommie)

Optional Nitrox certification add-on available (40%)

Snacks, soup and water provided on surface intervals

What are the course specialities?
The Advanced Scuba Course includes two compulsory specialities: Deep Diver and Navigation Diver. As a course we will also select three additional specialties to round out the course. This flexible approach allows you to tailor the course to your interests and diving goals.
What happens after course completion?
Upon successful completion of your Advanced course, you'll receive a digital certification card, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters. With at least nine logged dives, you'll have gained valuable experience and confidence. Join us on our dive adventures to further enhance your diving skills and capabilities.
How can I improve my skills with Nitrox?
Enjoy longer bottom times, shorter surface intervals, and reduced post-dive fatigue with our Nitrox Diver course. Learn about the benefits of enriched air, diver safety, and equipment considerations. Combine it with your Advanced adventurer course for maximum savings and convenience. Nitrox certification also contributes to your Master Diver rating.
